Who we are
The Don’t Cap Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by artist and community leader 1K Phew with a single goal in mind: to uplift and empower underserved communities. Rooted in faith, authenticity, and cultural relevance, the foundation is dedicated to helping individuals—especially youth and young adults—discover their purpose and confidently walk it out.
At the Don’t Cap Foundation, we believe everyone deserves access to real support, honest guidance, and opportunities that spark growth. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to create safe spaces, deliver practical resources, and inspire individuals to pursue purpose with authenticity and integrity.
What We Do
Through a combination of community outreach, faith-based initiatives, youth-centered programs, and collaborative events, we focus on meeting people where they are and providing what they truly need. Our work includes:
Educational and life-skills programming to equip individuals for real-world success
Mentorship and spiritual development rooted in faith and positive influence
Family and community support through events, drives, and outreach initiatives
Culturally relevant engagement, using music, arts, and storytelling to connect authentically
Why We Do It
Growing up in the culture, 1K Phew understands firsthand the importance of positive examples, honest conversations, and real resources. The Don’t Cap Foundation was born from a desire to bridge the gap between faith and everyday life—removing judgment, removing barriers, and removing the “cap” so people can grow freely.
Our Commitment
We are committed to consistency, authenticity, and lasting impact. Every program, partnership, and initiative is built to empower individuals to live with confidence, walk in integrity, and chase their God-given purpose.
